MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 KFT.’S SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN SIÓFOK
In 2013, MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft. won a HUF 50,000,000 EU grant in the ‘Site Development’ tender of the Southern Transdanubia Regional Operative Programme of the New Széchenyi Plan. The project is being implemented with a total budget of HUF 100,832,474, and is seeing the company expand the capacity of its site and develop its site infrastructure.
MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft. has been involved in construction design and implementation since its inception. Today Magasépítő ’99 Kft. is an approved supplier for MOL Group, and alongside this, it has carried out construction work in many parts of the country. There are two main arms to the business: planning (design) and construction (implementation). At the start of 2009, the company obtained ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, then in 2011, certification under the MSZ EN ISO 14001:2005 Hungarian standard for environmental protection, and in 2013, a certificate for the application of the management system under the MSZ 28001:2008 (OHSAS 18001:2007) standard. The company has completed major assignments involving the installation and construction of gas facilities, as well as the design and construction of residential buildings, public buildings and other industrial, service and commercial facilities. The business has grown over the past several years from a micro-enterprise employing just two people to a small business with 25 employees, and as a result, it now needs to develop its site capacity.
PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
The purpose of the project is to implement a construction and basic infrastructure investment on the site owned by MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft. through the development of a warehouse building with a net useful floor area of 474.08 square meters serving the company’s construction activities, plus the associated offices and personnel facilities. The long-term goal of the project is to improve the company’s market position, for which the advanced modern infrastructure and sustainable features of the site, with its low operating costs (thanks partly to the use of renewable energies), will provide an excellent basis.
BENEFICIARIES
The beneficiaries of the project will be the currently employed 19 manual workers of MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft., for whom the company will be able to provide better working conditions, and all the employees of MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft., for whom the stability of their workplace will be made more secure through an improvement in the infrastructure of the business and a consequent reduction in the company’s costs, as well as the entire clientele of MAGASÉPÍTŐ ’99 Kft., for whom the company will be able to provide a higher-quality, faster and more efficient service following the development.
